I resolved to myself that this will be the last time I would bake my own birthday cake AND food for MY OWN party which I MYSELF threw for MYSELF. Stay tuned for a year to find out if I keep that resolve. Why? because I want to be one of those people that are gifted with surprise birthday parties by their families complete with a cake that for once I didn't have to bake *sigh* I want to be fussed over, hugged and squeezed and kissed to death. I want to look fresh and smell of perfume instead of looking harassed, food stained and reeking of garlic on my supposed special day. IT IS after all my day so I will gripe if I want to!!

The cake was the only post worthy thing on the menu and although she (that's right, the cake is a "she") doesn't look very pretty and definitely NOT neat in the picture, she sure was yummy :) Thank you Callebaut!!
